Cathy Cole Designs originated in 2003 as a hobby, but turned into an online business shortly after the birth of our daughter, Natalie in 2007. I struggled with the thought of going back to work and leaving her in daycare, but I loved my job and the friends that I had made there.

Upon trying to return to work, I found that the daycare she was signed up for didn't have her on their list, so I took that as my sign from God that home was where I needed to be. Although a part of me was nervous to leave after 7 years, I believed in God and my wonderful husband who assured me this was what I needed to do. So, with my husband’s Computer Science degree and extensive knowledge of web design and my Business Management Degree and embroidery machine, (not to mention one really cute little girl to try new products out on) CathyColeDesigns.com became a reality.

Now almost 3 years later, we have added a son, John Carter to the mix and have a wonderful, complete family. Some days trying to juggle it all becomes a bit stressful, but I have a wonderful support system. My parents and my husband’s parents help out with the children so much and I couldn't imagine trying to do what I do without them. They are truly a daily blessing to me and I am so thankful for them.
